THE LONG JOURNEY HOME

Editing is now underway for the third installment of the Johnson Family Chronicles -- The Long Journey Home. After a great deal of pain, loss and confrontation in the first two entries of the series--the Book of Samuel and The Long Goodbye, The Long Journey Home culminates in a long-awaited moment of truth for Samuel, Tabitha, Maxine and Samuel Johnson, Sr. and an end to their stressful journey.

Book of Samuel

Johnson Family Chronicles, Book I

Stranded in the Savannah, GA Airport after a stressful family wedding, Dr. Samuel Johnson, his wife and parents sift through family emotional baggage even as their Louis Vuitton luggage jets off to their final destination. Feeling locked into his career as a doting obstetrician that absorbs every ounce of his energy, Samuel can't see that he's begun to neglect his marriage like last year's golf clubs.

As flights are cancelled, tensions rise and secrets are revealed, testing family ties in every direction. Can Samuel find a way to make things right? Can he even decide what "right" means anymore?
